18km from the island port and the central city, Parikia, are the Flora Apartments complex. Although the beach of Chrissi Akti is in walking distance, the area of the apartments is so quiet; you can only assume the beach is close by looking out the windows at the Aegean blue. During summer, the only sounds around are the goats grazing and the cicadas singing.
